Creating podcasts on PCs are easy, but they are even easier if you have a Macintosh using GarageBand 3.0+. Version 3 or newer of this popular software allows users to now create a “Podcast episode” which includes recording a narration; adding chapters, images, web links (or a video for a vodcast) for an enhanced podcast; and laying down background music with a feature called “ducking” which automatically lowers the secondary audio tracks when the predominant audio track is playing.

So what’s involved in creating a podcast on a Mac? Take a look at the following video in which Apple CEO Steve Jobs runs through a quick demo of the process.

And when you’re finished viewing the demo, take a look at the first video in a series of 10 in which Dave of Adelaide, Australia, shows you how to create a podcast on your Mac using GarageBand. This first video shows you what your iWeb podcasts will look like on the iWeb side.
